Post-hardcore group Alesana have released a video for “Lullaby of the Crucified,” off their latest, A Place Where the Sun Is Silent. The track is the final song in the “First Act” of the record, which is a concept album based around Dante’s Inferno. Let us know what you think of it in the comments.

The Smoot family and Slave Pit Inc. released a statement regarding the official cause of death of guitarist Cory Smoot. Cory had played the character of Flattus Maximus for over 10 years, and was discovered dead on the band’s tour bus on November 3 of this year. He was 34.
